100 years ago, two Canadian scientists, Frederic Banting and Charles Best, discovered insulin and later sold their patent for $1 as their "gift to the world." Insulin regulates our blood sugar levels, but the price of insulin has skyrocketed for those who rely on the medication to stay alive. To honor their discovery, this naturally flavored black tea tastes sweet but has no sweetener. 50% of the proceeds will go to T1International.

T1International believes in a world where everyone with type 1 diabetes, no matter where they live, has everything they need to survive and achieve their dreams. Approximations say that more than 40 million people around the world live with type 1 diabetes. A large proportion of people with diabetes live in places with inadequate or unaffordable healthcare, which means there are likely hundreds of thousands of people facing death due to a lack of insulin. We support local communities by giving them the tools they need to stand up for their rights so that access to insulin and diabetes supplies becomes a reality for all.
