This is special because...

Carved Color Ceramics is a happy little pottery studio born out of a not so little accident, when Founder/Designer Taylor sustained a brain injury in a car crash. Due to digital screen limitations, she was forced to take a break from her graphic design career. Ceramics had always been a part of her life, and this was the “bump” she needed to start throwing clay professionally!

TBI’s and concussions are often referred to as “invisible injuries," and Art Therapy was instrumental for Taylor's emotional and physical recuperation. In addition to creating incredible, functional ceramics, Taylor uses her platform to educate around Art Therapy as a means of recovery for traumatic brain injuries.
