Description

These special edition playing cards celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Massimo Vignelli’s iconic design for the MTA Subway Map of 1972.

This officially licensed product of The MTA was designed by Brad Fulton and features a completely custom back design and face cards that celebrate the now legendary signage of the most frequented transit system in the USA.

Fulton Street Playing Cards is a love letter to the amazing graphic design of the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority. By “cropping into” the curves so eloquently designed by Vignelli, these cards provide a back design that encapsulates the kinetic energy of transit in The Big Apple.

Additional Card features an essay by Dr. Kenneth Joh on the significance of the Vignelli Diagram.

Printed by the US Playing Card Company on premium card stock and packaged inside a letterpress-printed tuck box.
