The oil helps dissolve oil-based debris allowing your next cleanser, a water-based cleansing bar soap or face wash, to deep clean and refresh your skin thoroughly. 

Begin the oil cleanse on dry skin to help remove the day and also soften the drying effects of a gel or foam cleanser. Massage the face in a circular motion concentrating on problem areas. Apply warm water to your face to transform the oil into a lotion, then use a warm towel to remove from the face. Follow with a water based cleanser or facial soap.
